“There was tremendous enthusiasm, and I am optimistic we will work well with Hon. Ololtuaa on this project focused on Kenya- USA cultural exchange  through sports,” Dr. Baxter remarked.

KFAF President George Alwang’a echoed the sentiment, highlighting the ministry’s receptive attitude.

“We had a wide range of discussions and were so pleased by how open-minded and committed the PS and his team were. I believe they will be key in moving this project forward and helping elevate American football and sports tourism in Kenya.”

As part of ongoing development efforts, Dr. Baxter will lead youth and senior coaching clinics at the University of Nairobi on July 18 and 20. These clinics are a build-up on last year’s milestone, which saw 10 Kenyan coaches receive Level 1 certification in American football.

The long-term vision is to host a major international American football event. welcoming teams from around the world and positioning Kenya as a leading destination for sports tourism and cultural exchange.
