Biography

Mr. Moses Ondeng is the Sports Officer at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), with extensive experience in sports education, administration, and inclusive sport development.

He holds a Bachelor of Education (Physical Education) from Kenyatta University, a Master’s degree in Adapted Physical Activity from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, and a Diploma in Sports for Persons with Disabilities from Leipzig University, Germany.

Mr. Ondeng began his career in education at Asumbi Teachers Training College, where he served for nine years and rose to become Head of the Physical and Health Education Department. In 2002, he joined JKUAT as Sports Officer and later served as Acting Director of Sports for six years, contributing significantly to the growth and professionalization of university sports programs.

He also served as the National Director of Special Olympics Kenya in 2011, championing inclusive sports opportunities for athletes with disabilities.

A passionate sports developer, Mr. Ondeng has been instrumental in advancing the development of American Football within Kenyan universities, supporting athlete pathways, institutional participation, and structured growth of the game at the tertiary level.
