The NFL Africa program has officially expanded to Kenya, marking a major milestone for American football on the continent. In partnership with KFAF and the Kenya Academy of Sports (KAS), the initiative introduced NFL Flag football to students from 10 Nairobi schools and hosted a talent identification camp for 29 young athletes from across Africa.
NFL stars of African descent, including Brian Asamoah and Arnold Ebiketie, inspired participants, while KFAF President George Alwanga hailed the partnership as a game-changer for flag football’s growth in Kenya.
This collaboration brings new opportunities for Kenyan athletes to pursue football at the highest levels, paving the way for a bright future in the sport.
